Saladworks' Franchisees Rope Off Richmond Market
RICHMOND, Va. – Two longtime friends with visions of entering the restaurant business have signed a franchise development agreement with Saladworks. The first location will open in early 2011.
Kevin Long and Travis Miller plan to open their first shop in Richmond. The site has yet to be determined.
Saladworks, based in Conshohocken, Pa., is in the midst of a nationwide expansion. The chain has more than 100 franchise locations in 11 states and more than 60 restaurants being developed. This year, Saladworks’ franchisees have opened restaurants in Northern Orange County, Calif., and Wake County, N.C. In late October, the first Saladworks will open in Tennessee in West Town Mall in Knox County.
