Cuppy’s Coffee shop owners refuse to bow under weight of failed franchise

Wil and Rachel Russell's dream of opening a business turned into a nightmare when they ran into all kinds of problems with the franchise they chose to start a Cuppy's Coffee shop.

A year-and-a-half ago, that happened to Wil and Rachel Russell. But instead of running, they pushed through the fear.

In February 2007, the Russells bought into the Cuppy’s Coffee & More franchise. It had always been Rachel’s lifelong dream to own a coffee shop. Wil was something of a journeyman, having worked various jobs, such as landscaping, as a youth pastor and, at the time, in retail management. CONTINUE…
