The "Guier Fence Professional" model allows you to start your company with a smaller investment. This may even be home-based depending on factors. No prior construction experience or carpentry skills are necessary.

The "Showroom" model is perfect for the experienced business manager, or a current fence professional who is ready to expand. This option includes the opening and operation of a full-scale showroom and warehouse.

What Type of prior experience should I have?

Here is the good news! No previous experience is either expected or required. All the skills you need will be taught to you by our corporate staff. This includes the practical aspects such as how to install a fence and the softer skills such as effective communication with the customer, business administration and time management.

How much will the Guier Fence franchise investment cost me?
The estimated required investment for a start-up franchise ranges from $53,000-$127,850 for the Guier Fence Professional concept; and $270,153 - $553,173 for the retail showroom concept.  As with any new business venture, it's important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.

What are the ongoing fees payable to the franchisor?

The is a percentage based royalty of three percent (3%). These fees help us to fund our support services and the research and developement of new products, procedures, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.

Are there any advertising fees?
Franchisees will be required to spend minimum of 2% of revenues on local marketing.  Franchisees will also be required to contribute 1% their revenue toward a system marketing fund.  Funds are used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Guier Fence brand and fund the creative costs to develop local franchise marketing materials.

Do you arrange financing?

No, we cannot provide financing however we may be able to recommend you to a qualified lending agency or finance company.
