Dickey's has been serving up great tastin' barbecue since 1941. We started with a single location in Dallas. Travis Dickey opened the first store to earn a living and hoped to someday open more locations. Three generations and almost seven decades later, our first store is still open and there are now hundreds of Dickey's around the country.

Some things haven't changed since day one – we still slow-smoke our brisket and pork overnight in all our restaurants. Other things have changed a lot – we have Big Yellow Cups, online ordering and a booming catering business. Still we serve food of the highest quality, we do so with the best group of people we can find, and we treat both our customers and our Owner/Operators like family.

When you open a Dickey's, you're not just opening a restaurant. You're becoming part of the family. That's why Dickey's is the largest fast-casual barbecue brand in the country, and also the fastest growing.
