Armstrong McCall seeks a limited number of highly qualified individuals to become multi-unit franchise owner/operators in select areas of the U.S. and Mexico. We are currently focusing our U.S. expansion in the Central Plains with plans for further territory development on the horizon. Armstrong McCall owners work on their business by direct involvement in this recession-resistant industry of professional salon distribution.


No Royalties!

Unlike many franchises, Armstrong McCall collects no royalties from its franchisees, and its one-time franchise fee is due three (3) years from the commencement of the franchise relationship unless the franchise is sold or transferred prior to such date, at which time the franchise fee then becomes due.

Training & Support


Initial Training


Initially franchise distributors receive a 2-day training at the Armstrong McCall Support Center. Additional assistance from the Support Center includes:

Regional training in consultative selling
Field sales managers & sales meetings
Product knowledge DVDs
Distributor-only secure website
Innovative Promotions & Merchandising

Through close management of franchise operations, Armstrong McCall benefits from a cohesive system where franchises focus on specific promotions. The Support Center provides innovative promotions and incentives such as:

  • Monthly print advertising

Our major marketing piece is the monthly Armstrong McCall Shopping Guide, which features monthly deals on hair, nail and skin care products, as well as shears, appliances and equipment. This monthly print advertising also highlights upcoming shows and product usage classes. Currently, over 280,000 hairdressers, nail techs, estheticians and massage therapists receive this full-color oversize advertisement. Each franchise store also receives 150 issues of the magazine monthly at no extra cost. The marketing piece facilitates customer connection and keeps our franchise distributors on the industry’s cutting edge.

Commitment to Customer Education


Armstrong McCall emphasizes product knowledge and education. While sales are extremely important, we are a sales-through-education company, holding over 1,500 classes annually in our stores and salons. The Support Center assists franchises with coordinating customer education and hosts regional trade shows for our franchises and their customers to attend regularly. We pride ourselves in being an education leader in our marketplace, firmly believing that the more professionals know about products and trends, the more products they will use, stock and retail to their salon customers.

Armstrong McCall is unique in that we offer a franchise distribution opportunity in the professional beauty supply industry with no on-going royalties. Armstrong McCall franchises are presently awarded to highly qualified candidates in very limited markets. We seek multi-unit franchise owner/operators in select areas of the US and Mexico. We are currently focusing on the opportunities available in Arizona, Texas, Mississippi and other states.

Qualifications

A business reflects the personality and behavior of its owner. While a variety of skills are necessary, certain disqualification factors apply. However, prior experience in the salon industry is not required. Outlined below are a few of the minimum requirements necessary for consideration:

  • Minimum of $250,000 of liquid assets
  • Experience managing sales personnel
  • Inventory management skills


Because our franchise opportunities are limited, we take considerable care in screening new franchisees. Through a significant review process we will discover if together your goals and experience may suit an Armstrong McCall franchise.
