I have started this blog to put down my thoughts on this whole business of finding a business. I’ve been at it for years, and I’ve discovered some pretty good ones. I even started my own franchisable business once, but more on that later.
If you are like me you love to look at the many, many business models that are out there and imagine yourself running them. What’s it like to get up in the morning and do THAT? (whatever THAT is).
The diversity of things you can do for a living is almost unimaginable, but you know? I actually can imagine myself doing just about any one of them, (well… maybe not a tax consultancy business). My favourite one at the moment is a pizza restaurant. I love pizza and I make a pretty good one, I think, but I have absolutely no knowledge of the restaurant business and I think that is reason enough not to jump in for the moment. It doesn’t stop me however, from picking out great sites for the restaurant as I drive around town and it encourages me to seek out my potential competition and, well… try their pizza!
People get really passionate about pizza.
