VooDoo BBQ sells Houma franchise

VooDoo BBQ & Grill has sold a franchise in Houma to Edward and Angelle Thibodeaux, who plan to open a restaurant in late 2009.
VooDoo is owned and operated by Tony Avila, Dino Arvanetes and Stephen Gill. The company originated in 2002 in New Orleans and is headquartered in Baton Rouge.
VooDoo has seven Louisiana locations, including two in Baton Rouge and one in Zachary. A Mall of Louisiana franchise and a Denham Springs franchise are scheduled to open this year.
The company is currently working on plans to franchise in other markets such as Lafayette, Lake Charles, Shreveport and the Gulf Coast Region in addition to more locations in and around Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
