The 31st annual franchise ranking announced in January judges franchise companies based on financial strength and stability, growth rate, size of the system and other factors. More than 700 franchise companies participated in the survey.

"This is our fifth consecutive ranking in the Entrepreneur Franchise 500," said Richard Lowe, president of Sir Speedy, Inc.
