Picking-Up Dog Poop Pays Off for Pet Butler

Picking up dog poop has turned Pet Butler into the largest animal waste specialist in the U.S. The Dallas-based company ended 2007 with revenue exceeding $3.5 million and 92 franchise operations in 26 states. Revenue grew 75 percent in 2007 while the number of franchises grew by more than 80 percent.

Other achievements in 2007 include the opening of the 12th California franchise, becoming the largest poop scooping service in California, and launching the Pet Butler gift card. The company also added several key executive positions to its staff and began implementing a massive technology upgrade project, which will further enhance the company's ability to serve its customers and franchise partners.
