Sonoma - 'Welcome Aboard'
I am pleased to announce that Jeanne Wailes has purchased a franchise in beautiful Sonoma, California. Jeanne and her Managing Broker, Nella Papadin, bring a wealth of experience to their business and totally embrace the P2P way of life! "It's a great concept and one that will resonate very well in the wine country of Sonoma", explained Jeanne. The Sonoma office should be opened for business by mid-May.

We wish Jeanne and Nella every success and becoming a platform for great things in California! I look forward to watching them grow and becoming a major player in the Sonoma real estate market.

Ambassador Program

We launched the 'Pedal to Properties Ambassador Program' this week. Since we started franchising last year we have had hundreds of people around the country become excited about our concept and offering their assistance. So we came up with our Ambassador Program as a way to unite these people and officially welcome them into our sphere.

The program offers our Ambassadors a card which lists our service values, company promise, mission statement and motto. We will incentivize our 'ambassadors' for helping us find appropriate franchisees! Please email me if you would like some more information on this program.

Please check out this great website which aims to collect up to 1,000,000 names who want safer roads for cyclists and pedestrians. The website was launched a couple of weeks ago and already has close to 10,000 people signed up! I urge you to check out this site and sign up if you haven't already! As their Executive Director, Tim Blumenthal, commonly states, 'great things happen when people ride bikes!'

Cycling Renaissance in the US

There are signs everywhere that cycling is making a huge comeback in the United States. Cities and towns are dedicating more and more public finances to create cycle paths and to make safer roads for cyclists and pedestrians.

Check out this website from Mayor Daley in Chicago: bicyclingambassador.org. It's a site dedicated to bike-safety in Chicago. It also encourages Chicagoans to ride their bikes more! Well done Mayor Daley! With initiatives like this going on in the Windy City, the Cubs just might have a chance this year!
