Fitness Franchise Names Bob Haimes Executive VP and Chief Growth Officer

Bob Haimes, Fitness Together Holdings, MASSAGE MagazineHIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. - July 17, 2009 - Fitness Together Holdings, Inc., has named Bob Haimes to the newly-created post of executive vice president and chief growth officer. Haimes will oversee marketing and development teams for both brands of the parent company, Fitness Together and elements therapeutic massage.

In his new role, Haimes will be responsible for key initiatives driving profitability and growth on two levels. His division will assist with business marketing and support to increase customer traffic and retention for the sprawling network of Fitness Together and elements therapeutic massage studios. Additionally, he will focus on franchise growth for the parent company with a goal to add more locations for both the personal training franchise and massage franchise concepts in the U.S. and abroad.

"I've been a life-long student of consumer trends and business growth that meet at the right time to define success in the supply-and-demand chain," Haimes said. As a man involved in personal fitness training, Haimes has been participating in triathlons, cycling, weight conditioning and sports for most of his life. He said a great advantage to his new job is the ability to combine his skills for growing companies with his personal passion for health and wellness.

A veteran of building brands, Haimes began his career with Procter & Gamble overseeing household
names like Folgers coffee and Crest toothpaste, along with numerous efforts leading new brand development and early stage business initiatives. He later moved to Boston Market Corp. as director of new products and business development contributing to the aggressive growth of the lunch business along with leading the creation of a new product pipeline. Haimes then assumed marketing and sales roles for Coors Brewing Company where he earned the title of senior director of market development.

His skills were then transferred into executive positions at eCollege, where as SVP Haimes led corporate strategy, product management, marketing and channel sales, and after eCollege's acquisition of Datamark, a response marketing firm out of Salt Lake City, Haimes took on the role of Datamark's chief operating officer, chief marketing officer and executive vice president. Haimes helped eCollege grow from $4 million in sales upon his arrival to more than $120 million and was instrumental in the company's rankings on Forbes "Top 25 Fastest Growing Technology Companies," USA Today's "eBusiness 25" list, and the Deloitte & Touche "Fast 50" in Colorado and "Fast 500" in the U.S.

Haimes most recently served as executive vice president and board member of Efficient Forms, LLC, in Littleton, Colo. Prior to that, he was a principal of Growthtrac Consulting, LLC, where he counseled early-stage businesses and non-profit organizations on business expansion.

Haimes holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a master's of business administration degree in marketing from Xavier University.
