Columbia, MD. - Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries, known for its fresh, made to order hand pattied burgers and fresh cut fries, has signed a master franchising deal with Florida entrepreneur Irene Jung for 50+ units throughout Florida. The Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries concept currently has 5 locations open in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and California, and will soon be opening a sixth location in Sandy Springs, Georgia. There are an additional 188 Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries restaurants in development in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries, Irene Jung was Corporate Controller for Mediacopy. With facilities in the USA, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, Mediacopy produced videocassettes and DVDs for Hollywood movie studios and had annual sales in excess of $150 million dollars.

Jung plans to open four corporate locations in South Florida and then begin franchising the rest of the state.
