1-800-DryClean franchise owners continue to drive community involvement

October 6, 2010 - 1-800-DryClean franchise owners donated their time and vans to deliver women's apparel items from Robert Half International, Inc., offices to Dress for Success locations across the country.

"Robert Half sponsored a suit drive to benefit Dress for Success, a nonprofit organization that we support to help women excel in work and in life," said Shannon Toler-New, president 1-800-DryClean franchise. "The Robert Half branch offices collected the women's apparel and accessories, but they needed a way to transport the donations to local Dress for Success offices. Our 1-800-DryClean owners generously volunteered their services to make the deliveries."

"I never say no because there's a valuable payoff when you see the smiles." said Rich Wickline, 1-800-DryClean owner in Torrance, CA. "You give a little and you get a lot."

Amanda Beck, who spearheads Robert Half's charitable causes, said this about the 1-800DryClean franchisee's support: "I know that Los Angeles, in particular, was very, very excited about your services. And I was part of the San Francisco pick up and was super impressed! I've never had such an easy suit drive experience, and I've been doing it for seven years!"

"We filled an entire van with several hundred pounds of clothes," said 1-800-DryClean of Greater Belleview, WA, owner, Claude Tyler. "I got a kick out of helping. It's just what we do."

"We greatly appreciate all of the help your teams provided to ours, and we look forward to working with you again next year!" said Beck.

"We were named an AllBusiness AllStar franchise for 2010," added Toler-New. "Giving back to the communities we serve is part of our culture. Whenever and wherever we can make a difference, our franchise owners are first to respond."
